It's just one of those days
When you don't wanna wake up
Everything is fucked, everybody sucks.
You don't really know why
But you wanna justify rippin' someone's head off
No human contact
And if you interact your life is on contract
Your best bet is to stay away mother fucker!
It's just one of those days!
It's all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit lettin' shit slip
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip
It's all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit talkin' that shit
It's just one of those days
Feelin' like a freight train
First one to complain
Leaves with a blood stain
Damn right I'm a maniac
You better watch your back
Cuz I'm fuckin' up your program
And if you're stuck up
You just lucked up
Next in line to get fucked up
Your best bet is to stay away motherfucker!
It's just one of those days!
It's all about the he says she says bullshit.
I think you better quit lettin shit slip
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip
It's all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit talkin that shit, punk
So come and get it
I feel like shit
My suggestion is to keep your distance
Cuz right now I'm dangerous
We've all felt like shit
And been treated like shit
All those motherfuckers, that want to step up
I hope ya know
I pack a chainsaw
I'll skin your ass raw
And if my day keeps going this way
I just might break something tonight
I pack a chainsaw
I'll skin your ass raw
And if my day keeps going this way
I just might break something tonight
I pack a chainsaw
I'll skin your ass raw
And if my day keeps going this way
I just might break your fuckin' face tonight
Give me something to break
Give me something to break
Just give me somrthing to break
How 'bout your fuckin' face?
I hope you know I pack a chainsaw, what? A chainsaw, what?, a mutherfuckin' chainsaw, what?
So come and get it
It's all about the he says she says bullshit.
I think you better quit lettin shit slip
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip
It's all about the he says she says bullshit
I think you better quit talkin that shit
Punk, so come and get it
These lyrics are very representative of the target audience; young, angry and angsty males. The theme of the lyrics are, as relevant to the target audience, anger and violence. The lyrics may be vulgar and slangy in places, but by analysing the lyrics, you can tell that the song is about already being aggrivated, but then aggrivated further by another person until the point of anger, resulting in hostility and violence towards that person.
This theme caters to the angry, youthful audience who would be already aggitated by the stresses of life and frombeing disillusioned by society. The lyrics could refer to then being aggitated further, by maybe further stresses of life or maybe a bully or a boss to the point of anger where a person snaps and resorts to violence.
Some key lines that testify to this analysis are:
"It's just one of those days, when you don't wanna wake up, everything is fucked, everybody sucks." This emphasises the idea of already being aggitated.
"First one to complain, leaves with a blood stain." "I think you better quit lettin' shit slip,
Or you'll be leavin with a fat lip." These two lines emphasise the idea that further aggitation can result in violence.
"We've all felt like shit and been treated like shit." This emphasises the idea of already being aggitated and being further aggitated.
"Give me something to break!" This line is presumably when agitation turns to anger and violence ensues, shown through the key word; "break".

Magazine Advert Idea
The main concept of my magazine advert is a parody of the iconic cover of the Abbey Road album by The Beatles.

From analysing a few music CD and DVD adverts, I've found the following conventions:
In my magazine advert, I will include a number of the aforementioned conventions. The background image of the advert will be a photo of the music video band cast crossing a zebra crossing as to mimic the iconic Abbey Road album cover, although the band will be carrying melee weapons, will bewalking across the road much more slouched and casual and the guitarist will be wearing his signature skull mask as to put the bands music genre of nu metal's own twist on the symbolic cover.

From analysing a few music CD and DVD adverts, I've found the following conventions:
- The adverts were all found in music magazines that cater to the genre of the album.
- An image of the product (DVD/CD) is shown in the advert.
- An image of the artist is shown in the advert, usually as the background.
- The artists name/logo is shown, being quite large as to emphasise to the reader who the product is by.
- The product title is shown, not as prominent as the artists name/logo, but more prominent than most of the other content in the advert.
- Include a brief summary of the products content and bonus content.
- Includes quotes from a few favourable reviews fom prestigious magazines of the products genre.
- Includes the icon and web address of a popular music retailer along the bottom of the advert.
- Includes the logo of the artists record label as well as both the label and the artists web address.
